The Texas YMCA Legislative Caucus is the first of its kind in the South and only the second of its kind in the country. This bipartisan, bicameral caucus is composed of legislative members who are dedicated to educating and sharing information on the YMCA’s mission, community impact and expertise on youth, family, and community issues. The Caucus is a unique opportunity for legislators to connect with the 22 YMCA associations serving over 200 urban, suburban and rural communities across the state while promoting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.
